Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed. You can schedule a consultation directly with Omaha Orthodontics whenever you’re ready.
How long does the first visit take?
Most first visits take about 45–60 minutes. This gives our team time to get to know you, review your smile goals, and talk through possible treatment options.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, any helpful dental records if you have them, and a list of questions you’d like to ask. Completing the new patient form before your appointment can help save time.
Will I get braces the same day?
Sometimes treatment can begin the same day, but it depends on your needs, schedule, and treatment plan. During your consultation, we’ll explain your options and next steps clearly.
Do you offer Invisalign®/clear aligners?
Yes, clear aligners may be an option for some patients. During your consultation, we’ll help determine whether braces, aligners, or another treatment approach is the best fit.
Do you see both kids and adults?
Yes. Omaha Orthodontics welcomes children, teens, and adults. It’s never too early to ask questions, and it’s never too late to improve your smile.
When should my child first see an orthodontist?
Many orthodontists recommend a first orthodontic evaluation around age 7. That does not always mean treatment is needed right away, but it helps identify potential issues early.
Do you offer payment plans?
We understand that the cost of orthodontic treatment can feel overwhelming. Many of our patients have felt the same way, but have found that our flexible payment options made achieving a healthy, confident smile more attainable.
