Education & Continuing Education
I am originally from Fremont, NE and moved to Omaha for college where I attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and received my bachelor’s degree. I then attended UNMC College of Dentistry where I completed both my dental degree and orthodontic residency. I looked forward to returning to the Omaha area to begin practicing in 2018.
At the age of 8, I can remember being fascinated with orthodontics and tooth movement. Growing up, visiting the orthodontist was never scary or uncomfortable but was actually the opposite experience! My childhood orthodontist was a friendly and familiar face that I always looked forward to seeing. I love orthodontics because it can provide people with dramatic improvements and literally life changing transformations.
I want to ensure my patients have an outstanding experience in our office so I regularly participate in continuing education for all clinical areas, and also in office management and customer service.

What it Means to Be Board-Certified
ABO Board Certification is a voluntary credential that represents an orthodontist’s personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice and lifelong learning. The ABO Certification process requires the completion of peer-developed, externally validated written and clinical examinations. A Board-Certified orthodontist has reached this level of achievement by pursuing additional voluntary education and ongoing self-assessment.
Board Certification is confirmation of an orthodontist’s personal commitment to providing lifelong quality patient care.
The American Board of Orthodontics is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.
These professional affiliations enable me to stay current with all the latest trends, techniques, and technologies within my specialty and allow me to interact with my colleagues for the collective benefit of all patients’ care.
At Home
Even though I’m not originally from Omaha, it feels like home to me. My husband, Dan, is a general dentist in the Omaha Metro and together we have two kids – our son Abram and daughter Audra. In my free time, I enjoy taking care of my yard and flowers, baking with Audra, watching Abram on the baseball field and together as a family we look forward to Friday Night Movie Nights at home!
